It's been a yucky day here and so far been yucky all week. What a week with the tsunami and earthquakes eh and what's your opinions on those parents who took their kids to the beaches to see the tsunami? Just plain dumb! No healthy respect for Tangaroa or the power of nature.

I agree, just asking for trouble. Weather woes ...... I'm sure we had more defined seasons when I was young. Summer, 3 months of long hot sunny days with no wind and not much rain. Autumn, 3 months of getting cooler, a bit more rain & wind blowing the falling leaves around. Winter, 3 months of frosty, cold, rain and wind. And spring, 3 months of it getting warmer then warmer & warmer .. not this warm one day, cold the next, then rain for a week, not to mention the wind as you have probably guessed, it's cold wet and windy today ;D ;D

No rain last night but arctic chill right thru to the bones, clouding over and freezing

It arrived up here (the arctic chill) this morning .. we lit the fire early afternoon it was so cold. Have had rain and hail through the afternoon and it's still raining on and off. Blah to this supposed spring weather, my strawberry plants don't like it and I bet the breeding birds in our trees don't either. We usually start finding eggs blown out of the nests and later on, baby birds

This has been our weekend and especially today, we've been freezing and I was just deciding whether to change our flannel sheets to the more summery cotton ones. But after today I think not.

Cold and yucky here. Taking kids to the movies. We have RAGING head colds in the house. The kids are over theirs and I'm still plodding along with my head full of cotton wool.

Must be the same everywhere?? I've only ventured outside onto the deck to throw some bread out for the birds today, too cold for anything more. Got the fire going now, tea is cooked, so catching up with some online business.

It's turned out really good .. sunny with just a slight breeze. Nice evening.
"fatboy farrar" is over there herod....? I have often wondered if the one who 'feeds' from farrars site, is the man himself. It's so rightwing dominated in TMOP I wouldn't be surprised if whaleboy is soiling the place too. Lol they often remind me of male animals marking out their territory ;D

Maire, I feed our birdies bread too, they know my whistle and are getting quite tame enough to come close while I'm feeding them. Yesterday was quite nice and sunny and today very cloudy and looks like more rain. I have a confession to make, I'm STILL in my pj's and it's 3pm already. It's been one of those days for me, I have absolutely no energy to do anything.

Maire, I feed our birdies bread too, they know my whistle and are getting quite tame enough to come close while I'm feeding them. That must be wonderful, I'm afraid the birds here a too wary of our cat to get too close!! He always seems to know what I intend to do and he follows me out. I usually throw the bread on the garage roof so they can eat in peace and have a chance to fly away before he can get up there Yesterday was quite nice and sunny and today very cloudy and looks like more rain. I have a confession to make, I'm STILL in my pj's and it's 3pm already. It's been one of those days for me, I have absolutely no energy to do anything. Hope you aren't coming down with the flu? And it doesn't matter about the pj's, I think we've all done that at times. Hope you are feeling better today It's awful weather here, been raining since I woke at 5.30am and it doesn't look as if it's going to change any time soon

My favourite thing to do on a wet rainy miserable day, stay in Pjs, a cuppa and a good relaxing book, watch dvds by the fire so nice! and so RIGHT! Who is fatboy farrar? That feeder individual is gross - he seems to view he tangata as things - he's actually a subtle advert for 'hire a sociopath' - see what he can turn over on the human market - its all about the dosh, all worthless unless perfect specimens.
