We only seem to get that bright yellow thingy after a freezing cold frosty start to the day.

We had thunder and lightning storms yesterday. They are fantastic but not good for the electricals! Have to shut everything down quick smart when they start. Today it's sunny and perfect. Gonna be hot ...

hello everyone old man winter has kept his icy claws under wraps so far its been very mild,.. in fact ridiculously warm.
the sun keeps making its appearance more often than usual,..its all good

So far there haven't been the heavy snows that Canterbury have had in past winters .. keeping fingers crossed you don't get them this year!!
It's been raining a bit during the night and looks like a grey drizzly day coming up, which doesn't worry me Saturday is usually a lazy day. I've been watching Come dine with Me every Saturday am & that takes up all morning ;D

Raining this morning hope it eases. Gonna have a house full this evening but thankfully for only a couple of hours. As for the snow Maire it'll be just our luck if we get hit with that last dump at the beginning of spring.

Not long after I wrote that (snow) I heard on the radio snow storms were expected in many places over the South Island, hope it doesn't come to anything Koko ... perhaps I should keep my thoughts re the weather to myself ;D
