I am Legend. Went to see this on the 3rd, Good storyline, I jumped out of my seat at some of the scary bits and felt like a real wally. Didn't feel complete, though I enjoyed Will's portrayal of 'man alone.'
The golden Compass. Took the kids to see this on New years eve, thoroughly enjoyed it as did the kids...there was no ending looking forward to the next parts, has shades of Narnia type fantasy in there.

I'm a bit of a sucker for kids movies bottlecar ;D I usually wait until they are on Sky movies, watch them in comfort and I can talk to the characters without people looking at me strangely ;D ;D I've taken to watching tv on a Saturday night lately and have been really enjoying Doc Martin. Loved it on Saturday when he walked in on his aunt and her toy boy .... the look on his face was priceless Have also been watching Michael Palins New Europe[?] which was on last night[?] and have just realised I missed it, someone was watching the Aussie/India cricket, or channel flicking, which I can't stand.

Just watched '50 first dates' found the first part of the movie hilarious especially the pacific humour, but found it dragged towards the end. Favourite characters was the old Hawaiian chap and the stoner. Out of 10 I'd give it a 5 (and that's generous)

'No.2' thoroughly enjoyed this, some very poignant moments, my son said 'are you crying mum?' I said 'no' he said 'yes you are, is it a sad movie? I said "it's an emotional movie' lol, anyway I thought it was a lovely movie, I laughed too, especially at the Aunty, great actors!

Saw that too. It was great had a tear or two and laughed as well. The arguing around the family politics and the celebration was familiar. Sad ending

The ending was a bit sad but also joyous because her family came back. I knew when Sol opened the front door that he would be named as successor and as Nana Maria said, he brought life back into the house. Just lovely! Did you see any traits which reminded you of people in your family koko? I did

Eagle v Shark ... wasn't that impressed until the funniest/worst/most cringe inducing fight scene EVER. Worth the price of entry alone.

The tattooist - 5/10, There wasn't enough tattoos in it lol, wasn't really scary, I wondered whether it was all fantasy or had some basis..i.e. in regard to Samoan lore and cultural practices.
Atonement - 7/10, Not much to say really A tragic love story.
Hairspray - 6/10, loved the message, was very well portrayed - 60's double standards and hypocrisies, with a lot of humour - though the singing gave me a headache. and I just couldn't 'get' John Travolta playing the part of the mum.

Okay ... I saw Sweeney Todd last night on dvd. I enjoyed it very much. It is unusual: a musical about a serial killer, but I thought Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman and Timothy Spall were excellent. Warning though: It aint for the squeamish!

Well, a group of us went to see Sex and the City on Thursday night. There was about 15 of us. I thoroughly enjoyed the film. It was like catching up with old friends you haven't seen in awhile.
I would recommend it and if you were a fan of the show, you will like the film a lot.

We watched No Country for Old Men last night. Whoa. Highly recommended. Tense, atmospheric and one of the scariest film characters I've seen in ages.
