hello queenie the world? do you mean the universe ? ,.. If geologists want to say that the earth is 4 billion years old, or astronomers want to make the universe 20 billion years old, the Bible student has no quarrel with them. our planet earth is also part and parcel of the universe,.. If you mean the world as in the world of mankind, then for me as a bible student man is just over 6000 yrs old Oh really?, how do you explain the 30 to 40 thousand year old cave paintings? |

Te Raup, it is thought by many scholars that the first real monotheistic prophet was zoroaster,dated by some as far back as 6000 years before christ......

the prob with people like you tormore is you dont believe there is a god so what benefit is there for you to come into a religious thread with nothing positive to offer other than to tear down and criticise others who are quite happy in thier way of life,..,

Sadly misilon you are doing your "usual" when challenged by knowledge,you rubbish the poster and use sarcasm to attempt to belittle.Really if you are unable to discuss these issues with an open mind perhaps you would be better suited to a religion only board where you could spend your time preaching to the converted. |

I deleted the posts that were boardering on or were abusive Tormore, its good to have differences of opinion and to discuss and debate as you and I and misilon know already. Theres also the whinge option which will be binned after 24 hours if you guys and gals need to get things off your chest, but tis better to clear up your differences out of the public eye.
